Simplicity Character Value Development in Gedongkuning State Elementary School

Character building guides students to become human beings with character, and simplistic values ​​are a person's habit of behaving according their needs abilities. This study aims determine how students' character development is based on the value simplicity in SDN Gedongkuning. The research was conducted field exploratory qualitative research. data collection technique this interviewed several informants: school principal, our teachers. Data analysis techniques used theory Miles Huberman's reduction, presentation conclusions. results can be concluded that Gedongkuning applies simplicity, including 1) Getting helping friends who are trouble; 2) Assign dress modestly avoid using items such as shoes, bags or jewellery too expensive; 3) Encouraging bring pocket money reasonably.
